Help is at hand for despairing parents
The ministry aims is to address parenting, which is crucial to building the foundation for any solid and healthy family.
Eagles Outreach Ministries in Port Shepstone is a community based organisation, founded by pastors Ashwin and Angelina Anirudhe.
They have found that South Africa as a nation is facing a parenting crisis, something which to them is of great concern.

And while substance abuse and teenage pregnancies are obviously issues, that’s not what they are talking about.
Rather, it’s the challenges modern parents are finding in simply trying to parent their children effectively.
“One of the challenges is that, due to economic demands, both parents have to work, leaving children to be parented or mentored by someone else,” said Pastor Anirudhe.
He said the ministry aims is to address parenting, which is crucial to building the foundation for any solid and healthy family.
With this in mind, psychologist Charlene Kodi has been invited to speak at the church on Saturday, August 17 at 3pm.
She will address parents and share some helpful insights.
With this in mind, a favourite scripture is Psalm 127:4-5: “As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”
