Great turnout as bikers ride for remembrance

For many, this ride was an emotional and moving event.

The annual South Coast Hospice Ride for Remembrance at St Mike’s beach car park last Sunday had an excellent turnout.

Before the ride, South Coast Hospice CEO, Di van Dyk gave a speech in memory of those bikers who had taken their last ride, which was followed by a moment of silence in honour of them.

For many of those taking part, this ride was an emotional and moving event. The bikers ended the Ride for Remembrance at Douglas Mitchell Sports Grounds where they enjoyed a hearty breakfast and get-together.
