JUST IN: Two dead in head-on collision near Paddock

Two accidents took place within the space of a few hours.

TWO people have died and a further four seriously injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles on the N2 near Elim Mission, Paddock earlier this evening.

Glen Preston of Med-Evac ambulance service said that the accident happened at about 5pm.

“The injured were taken to hospital,” he said.

Earlier in the day there was an accident on the road heading towards the Oribi Gorge Hotel involving two bakkies and a car, where fortunately the occupants sustained only minor injuries.
