Teresa has been in the travel/airline industry in one way or another since 1970.
Born in South Africa, she lived in Rhodesia as a child, where her parents had a touring safari business.
She worked in the UK, Bahrain and Doha for Dan Air and then Gulf Air as an airline stewardess.
“In 1987 I took a break from city life and spent the next five years working, first at a big five game lodge in the Timbavati and then in the Kruger National Park. I started my travel agency in 2007,” she said.
Being a single mum, she loves to be organised, is inspired by Winston Churchill, does the weekly park run to relax and loves to dance.
Being in the bush is her favourite vacation, and her advice to entrepreneurs is to make sure you know what is entailed before starting up a business and most of all a belief in your ability.
