Brilliance regains his shine

Th community rallied to his aid after his home was destroyed by fire.

BRILLIANCE Shonge (30) lost all his worldly goods in a devastating fire which destroyed his Malangeni home in July.

Left with literally just the clothes on his back, Brilliant had no idea what tremendous support he would received from the community.

“We appealed for donations in the form of food, clothing, bedding and household essentials, and the response was overwhelming,” said Brilliance’s employer, Natasha van Rensburg.

“Each and every item, big and small, was well received and greatly appreciated. We had so many people dropping by with a bag of this and a backpack of that. Some even dropped off cash to help Brilliance build up his home again,” said Natasha.

Husqvarna is thanked for donating work apparel for Brilliance, valued at more than R2 000.
