Help the hand that feeds the hungry
The feeding programme benefits indigent and needy children at schools.
The annual Bread of Heaven charity run is set to take place at the Port Shepstone Senior Primary on Saturday, September 7 from 7.30am.
The organising committee makes a special appeal to members of the public to volunteer to become fund-raising ambassadors for this year’s event.

Each ambassador runner is expected to raise a minimum of R500. The fundraising target for 2019 is R250 000, as this will sustain the organisation’s school feeding programme for the next five months.
The programme benefits indigent and needy children from 12 public schools and creches in the Ugu District. Remember, you do not need to be an ambassador runner to raise funds. Funds can be raised and handed to the Bread of Heaven organising committee.

Some of the fun activities planned for the day include face painting, cupcake decorating, food stalls, a jumping castle and so much more for the whole family to enjoy. The 5km fun run/ walk entry fee is R50 for adults and R20 for pupils.
