First of the spring rains on South Coast no cause for alarm

Motorists are urged to exercise caution while driving and maintain a safe following distance.

THE world may have its eyes fixed on Hurricane Dorian at the moment but, it seems Mother Nature has also opted to also send some heavy downpours to the coast of KwaZulu-Natal today.

Parts of the province have already been put on alert with the South African Weather Service having issued a weather watch alert for the areas between Mazeppa Bay and Port Edward.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution while driving and maintain a safe following distance.
