Hlanganani ventures out

Every grade had somewhere exciting to visit and look forward to.

Hlanganani Preparatory School expanded horizons by organising excursions to many interesting locations in the vicinity last week.

Grades R and 1 were treated to a visit to Georgia Spur in Shelly Beach to enjoy a meal and have fun in the play area.

Pupils from gr 2 learned about butterflies and creatures at Butterfly Valley Farm and gr 3s visited Pure Venom Reptile Park.

Gr 4 classes were fascinated by all the reptiles and creepy crawlies at Crocworld Conservation Centre and even got the chance to handle a baby crocodile.

A fun outing to uShaka Marine World in Durban kept gr 5s entertained.

Teachers kept a keen eye on gr 6 classes while spending a day at Skogheim. Leaders for 2020 will be chosen from this group.

Water and wild wave fun was the order of the day for gr 7 pupils at Sun Coast Hotel and Casino’s water park.
