Former test cricketer Peter Pollock speaks at church
The evangelist, who played test cricket for South Africa as a champion fast bowler from 1962 to 1970 spoke on his life journey and the role Jesus plays in it.
Evangelist Peter Pollock was the guest speaker at the Alfred County Presbyterian Church in Port Shepstone last weekend.
Peter, who played test cricket for South Africa as a champion fast bowler from 1962 to 1970 spoke on his life journey and the role Jesus plays in it.

He told the congregation at the Alfred County Presbyterian Church that the church’s work will keep going until it is complete.
“That work is to preach the gospel and through this, the spirit works orderly and meticulously to bring people to Jesus,” he explained.
Peter said Jesus came to save sinners.
“As we come to Jesus, trusting in his saving work, we receive grace and freedom.”
He likened it to the game of cricket by saying it is like joining team Jesus, with Him as the captain that wins the match for his side. “Join His side!” he urged everyone.
