Only one lane of the road near the former Old McDonald's Farm is currently open to traffic.
An elderly man died when his vehicle left the road in Marine Drive, Shelly Beach, and landed in the river below earlier this morning.
Recovery of the vehicle in under way and only one lane of the road near the former Old McDonald’s Farm is currently open to traffic.

It is believed the man was travelling from Shelly Beach to Port Shepstone at the time of the crash.
