Curro Creston athletes hone skills

The school has been collecting pet food to help the many animals in the care of Lower South Coast SPCA.

Curro Creston Pre-primary held their sports day last week.

Pupils showcased their impressive progress made in mastering gross motor (large muscle) movements.

Strengthening these muscles facilitates balance, coordination, locomotion, laterality, directionality, dominance, crossing the mid-line, bilateral integration and the building of core strength.

They also demonstrated how they are learning to work as a team, which is a vital skill to learn when playing sport. All athletes tried their very best and loads of fun was had.

The school has been collecting pet food to help the many animals in the care of Lower South Coast SPCA.

Collections end today (Thursday) and the food will be handed over tomorrow. Thank you to everyone for their kind and generous donations.
