Milkshake fundraising fun for bikers

The 'Milkshake Run' was Serenity MC's first event.

Serenity Motorcycle Club held a marvellous ‘Milkshake Run’ last Sunday to raise funds for ‘Give a Child a Family’, which is a local child protection organisation promoting the rights and well-being of children.

Organiser Des Dinzl said the family-fun day went well, and they had a nice turn-out.

“The bikers, along with their children, rode from St Mike’s to Douglas Mitchell Sports Club, where young biker enthusiasts (and some of the adults) received a free milkshake and treats.”

Finalists in the Miss Hibiscus pageant (from left) Tamaryn Price, Angelique Landman and Esethu Xelithole support the ‘Milkshake Run’ last Sunday.

She said it was Serenity MC’s first event, and they planned to host another one next year.
