New novel celebrates women

FORMER Umzinto resident, Krish Govender, launched his second novel, ‘Losing My Family’ at the Blue Marlin Hotel in Scottburgh last Saturday.

Krish hosted a lively Q and A session before autographing copies of his book for fans.

This book, said Krish, was written for many reasons, including the celebration of women and telling their tales of how they struggled during the apartheid era, but managed to overcome so much.

“I dedicated this book to all fathers who are heroes, and to all mothers who are our super-heroes,” he said.
