Ashton’s army rallies to raise funds

The event was held to raise funds towards medical costs for 11-year-old Ashton Dry from Port Edward, who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in February this year.

Some 70 people supported the Spring Health and Wellness event for women held at the Port Edward Holiday Resort recently.

Roshie Moodley and Debbie Freeman, organised this event for Ashton, out of the goodness of their hearts.

“So many women joined the taebo, yoga and aerobics sessions and took the opportunity to indulge in a free massage. Thank you to everyone who supported our event for Ashton,” said Roshie.
