Spring tea treat for Pennington seniors

Talented local musicians provided great entertainment.

RESIDENTS of The Vales home for the elderly in Pennington were recently treated to a terrific tea and top-class entertainment from some very talented local musicians.

Guitarist Stefan Nel and Ray Schultz on the keyboard accompanied vocalists Monica Lobjoit and Annemarie Barnett as the seniors tucked into their tea and cakes in the garden.

“It’s good to treat our residents like this, because the littlest things mean lot to them,” said Val Ball of The Vales.
