Safe recovery of capsized ski-boat off Shelly Beach

Med-Evac ambulance services were also activated.

Reports of a ski-boat which capsized while heading out to sea in the surf zone off Shelly Beach last Saturday morning caught the immediate attention of  NSRI Shelly Beach duty crew who responded swiftly.

Jeremiah Jackson, NSRI Shelly Beach station commander said Shelly Beach control confirmed that both crew of the capsized boat were safely on shore and the capsized boat was in the surf.

Med-Evac ambulance services were also activated.

Mr Jackson said both crew were assessed by paramedics but as they were not injured  they assisted with the recovery of the casualty boat.
