Instead of posting photos of suspects on social media, rather hand the evidence over to relevant authorities for further investigation.
Some sad news for Tweni residents is that Nobby Clarke of Mdoni Ridge died in hospital last Friday (September 27) after a long illness. Sincere condolences to Norma, family and friends. Sadly Di Smith also died last Friday. Condolences to Hedley van der Merwe, friends and family. They used to live in Bamber Crest, but relocated to the Midlands.

Stay alert
Criminals were active in Tweni last weekend and some good video footage was obtained. Please be very careful about posting photos of suspects on social media. Rather hand the footage and evidence over to relevant authorities for further investigation.
Some expensive sheets were stolen off the washing line in Marine Drive and intruders going into yards have been setting off beams and alerting dogs. Please try to give good details when reporting incidents. Take note of the colour and kind of the clothing worn, the directions suspects went, etcetera.
Reporting barking dogs is not enough. The onus is on owners to keep their dogs inside properties.
Dogs wandering around in the streets are a threat in so many ways – they could cause an accident, get run over or bite a pedestrian.
Birthdays this week are Oscar Swanlund and Paul Jeffreys (October 4) and Taryn Schlehmeyer, Alison Keys and Michael Hansen (8th).
All news to Leila.
