A MAN has died after being shot several times in the Scottburgh CBD on the night of October 5.
It is believed that the man was standing opposite KFC, near the Scottburgh Library, when the gunman opened fire.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to GJ Crookes Hospital where he died later that night.
The shooting took place in full view of customers at KFC and the nearby filling station.
“It was very scary to witness something like this,” said one. “I was left very shaken.”
This isn’t the first time there has been a shooting in “sleepy Scottburgh”.
In August, a vehicle travelling along Scott Street opposite another filling station was shot at multiple times, and the driver died.
Scottburgh police are investigating and the motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
