Sixty Santa Shoeboxes still to go

The decorated Santa Shoeboxes need to be dropped off at the Port Shepstone Methodist Church Hall.

The Santa Shoebox project collects and distributes gift boxes to underprivileged children throughout South Africa and Namibia. This year they are aiming to collect 713 shoeboxes for underprivileged children on the South Coast. To date, 653 shoeboxes have been pledged. With only two weeks to go, 60 boxes are still outstanding.

The South Coast public are asked to participate in the project by visiting www.santashoebox.org.za to register as a supporter. Donors can choose the child or children for whom they wish to pledge a shoebox.

The decorated Santa Shoeboxes need to be dropped off at the Port Shepstone Methodist Church Hall, 28 Reynolds Street, Port Shepstone on Friday, October 25 from 8am till 5pm, and Saturday, October 26 from 8am till 3pm.
