"The old TV was not working and could not be repaired so this was really needed," said Alex Park's Margie Stella.
ALEXANDRA Park old age home residents were surprised recently when they received an unexpected gift.
Chairman Kevin Cole and members of the Dumisa Farmers’ Association made a cash donation to the home a few weeks ago, and this money was used to purchase a brand new, large, ‘smart’ TV for the lounge.

“The old TV was not working and could not be repaired so this was really needed,” said Alex Park’s Margie Stella.
“Besides just watching TV, residents can now view photographs, and watch DVDs and other exciting presentations on this TV.”
The Dumisa Farmers’ Association is thanked for the generous donation which made this purchase possible.
