Some of the highlights include the Glamorous Gran competition and the Mini Miss competition.
DIWALI is fast approaching, which means it’s time for all those celebrating to start stocking up on sweetmeats, treats, and for some, it’s a great opportunity to go shopping for a new traditional outfit.
Whatever the case may be, it’s still one of the most anticipated times of year for all Hindus.

One of the best things about Diwali is the number of celebrations, not just at home or with friends and family, but community events too such as the annual Diwali galas.
This year, the Umzinto Diwali Gala will take place at the Gandhinagar open space near the creche on Saturday, October 19 from 11am.
The Saraswathi Nagara group will be joining the line-up so you can expect loads of fun and entertainment.

You can also look forward to stalls, lots of bhajans, kirthans, performances by dance groups and a special performance by senior citizens.
Entrance is free, meals will be provided and there are loads of prizes up for grabs.
