One dead in R612 crash

A MINIBUS and truck collided on the R612 between Sawoti and Umzinto on Monday morning, leaving one person dead.

Paramedics from KZN EMS and other medical services responded.

Nine other people were seriously injured, with one in a critical condition.

The patients were all treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage and police are investigating.
