Cansa luncheon is well supported

Healthcare practitioner Dr Viyonne Longmore was a guest speaker at the event and gave an informative talk on breast cancer.

THE women’s group, Projects with a Purpose (PWP), together with its functions committee, organised a very well-supported Cansa lunch at Renishaw Hills earlier this month.

More than 50 prosthetic ‘knitted knockers’ were handed to Cansa counsellors, Sharon and Errol Theron, on the day.

These prosthetics were knitted by members of PWP during the year and will be donated to breast cancer survivors.
