AN attempted break-in at the Pick n Pay in Scottburgh Mall was foiled last Sunday evening by the alert store manager.
He was in the process of closing the store when he heard noises emanating from the ceiling.

After hearing movement and more noises coming from the roof, he heard the alarm go off.
He contacted the security company and within minutes, several Scottburgh Saps and security company vehicles arrived.
The suspects however managed to flee.
A case of attempted burglary is being investigated by Detective Constable Mohammed Bhaijee.
