School pupils injured in another N2 taxi accident

The taxi driver lost control of the vehicle which crashed into a wall.

Twenty-one school children and an adult suffered minor injuries when a taxi left the road and crashed into a wall in Marburg this morning (Friday, November 1).

 The accident occurred on the N2 at about 7.50am, said Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service spokesman, Craig Botha.

“The patients were treated on scene and transported to local hospitals. The cause of the accident is not known, and authorities are investigating,” he said.

 

On Monday this week 23 children also travelling to school in a taxi were injured when the driver lost control of the vehicle  on the N2 near Bhobhoyi.
