Ministry gives new wings to the aged
The church's mission is to assist people in need.
Eagles Outreach Minstries in Port Shepstone has recently embarked on a project to uplift the community.
“We discovered that there are many elderly folks in our area with little or no income who just get by with what little they have,” said Pastor Ashwin Anirudhe.
Rubie Pillay was one such person to benefit from the church’s outreach and upliftment project.
“We have begun this project to assist such people. Our mission is to upgrade living conditions, to give them a sense of worth and dignity.”
The church assesses what needs to be done to the houses and completes the work at no charge, with the church bearing the cost.
