Stolen property recovered after house robbery

Police have again warned that it is illegal to purchase stolen goods.

PURCHASING stolen property is a criminal offense.

Police have issued this warning after a recent housebreaking in Inkombo, Malangeni.

The man returned to his home after leaving it vacant for a few months, and found that it had been broken into.

Furniture and a number of appliances, worth about R146 000, had been stolen.

“After receiving a tip off, Detective Constable Ningi Dlamini of the Umzinto Saps was able to recover the stolen goods from four residents at Inkombo who had bought the items,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
