Fourteen goats were attacked by roaming dogs in Gcilima last Sunday night.
According to Carla Steenkamp vice-chairman of the LSC SPCA, Inspector Jacob Maduna and field officer Harold Krause found 12 of the animals had been killed while another had to be euthanised.

“The surviving animal was euthanised at the SPCA yesterday (Wednesday),” she said.
Police spokesman, Sergeant Sibu Ncane confirmed the incident but added that the owner of the goats had not opened a case as he did not know to whom the dogs belonged.
The SPCA is investigating.
