A full investigation is underway after a police officer was found murdered near the Port Shepstone beachfront on November 3.
“Warrant Officer Thulani Derrick Ngwabe (51) had suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest,” said police spokesman, Colonel Brenda Muridili.

“The motive for the killing is unknown and case of murder was opened at Port Shepstone Saps.”
She added that W/O Ngwabe had been off-duty at the time of his death.
The policeman was stationed at the Margate Saps Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) and was a 25-year veteran in the force.
The docket has been transferred to the Hawks for further investigation.
