Wheelchairs are always needed

An appeal is made for donations of wheelchairs, in reasonable condition, which can be refurbished and presented to those in need.

SBONELO Ngcobo (32) broke his leg in a car crash in 2003.

As if that wasn’t enough, a taxi accident two months ago resulted in Sbonelo breaking both his legs.

Sbonelo’s aunt, Department of Health caregiver Dumephi Ngcobo, approached Peter’s Reconditioned Wheelchairs for help.

Fortunately, a wheelchair was available and although he is still in a lot of pain, Sbonelo can now move around his home unaided.

There is a constant demand for wheelchairs and wheel-walkers, and an appeal is made for donations of these, in reasonable condition, which can be refurbished and presented to those in need.
