Massive mamba spotted near Scottburgh
Snakes are more afraid of you than you are of them, so refrain from harming these slithery creatures and rather call a professional to help.
SUMMER is here and so are the snakes.
A huge green mamba was recently seen just outside Scottburgh.
The 1.5 metre snake was removed by Crocworld Conservation Centre manager, Martin Rodrigues and reptile curator, James Wittstock. and was safely released into the wild.

Green mambas are, as the name implies, emerald green in colour, with a light green belly, and are usually found in trees or shrubs.
Both black and green mambas have neurotoxic venom which affects the nervous system, damaging the nerves.
This could cause difficulty in breathing and lead to suffocation.
If you’re ever bitten by a snake, try and identify the snake – either take a photo or get a good look at it as this will help medical personnel administer the correct treatment.
