Devotion: Become a new creation
People need to understand what a "new creation" means in biblical terms.
NEW creation – what does that mean in layman’s terms?
Maybe the thought crossed your mind, “Is God making the earth new again?” Good question (Revelations 21 v 1-2).
Getting closer to home, I used to design and sew my own clothes. As soon as I finished one, I’d have a fashion show (at home of course).

My mom at first glance would say loudly, “What on earth is that creation you’ve got on?”
I never seemed to get it right – our tastes were three and a half decades apart.
People need to understand what a “new creation” means in biblical terms.
Paul, in 2 Corinthians 5 v 17 said, “Therefore if anyone be IN Christ he is a new creation. Old things are passed away, see, all things are new, and all things are of God who has reconciled us to Himself by Christ Jesus.”
Being IN Christ means to be born again, in the spiritual sense and be reconciled to God by believing and RECEIVING Jesus as your lord and saviour.
Then you will know that you are born of incorruptible seed and will live forever in and with Him.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, just as a designer designs clothes individually, I believe that you designed me to be Your child; I want to have that peace that comes from knowing You. I receive you today as my lord and saviour, in Jesus name. Amen.
