Talk of the Towns: Make the most of festive fun

CAN you believe that we have less than a month left before Christmas?

If you are looking to buy some interesting crafts or unique gifts for your friends and family, keep an eye out for the Christmas markets which usually spring up at this time of year.

In addition, Christ The King church will be holding a charity Christmas Fun Fair at the Gandhinagar grounds in Umzinto on December 7 from 10am to 7pm.

Entry fee is R10 for adults and R5 for children, and proceeds will be donated to charity.

There will be lots on offer at the fair, including gift and food stalls, live music, a photo booth, paintball target shooting, trampolines and jumping castles, a fancy-dress parade and more.

Also on December 7, Extreme Ridez and Mzansi Promotions brings you the Year End Bash at the Park Rynie beach campsite.

Entry is free, but there is a charge should you wish to park your vehicle inside the grounds.

There will be a car sound off, show and shine and fishing competition.

For the little ones, entertainment – including jumping castles – has been planned.

A reminder that the Khanya Hospice Summer Fair takes place at the DSB Ground in Craigieburn, Umkomaas on November 29 and 30 and December 1.

Besides a huge variety of stalls, you can also look forward to Khanya’s Got Talent, Eddie’s Fun Fair rides, live music, a car show and the lucky draw for the boat cruise.

Entry fee is R5 for scholars, R10 for senior citizens and R20 for adults.
