Music academy students hit high notes

The Sa Re Ga Ma Music Academy concluded the year in fine style with an awards ceremony and year-end banquet at B Cubed Guest Lounge in Southport.

Music teacher and founder of the academy, Vernon Govender congratulated and acknowledged the students for their hard work. Special excellence awards were given out to Uvashna Reddiar (student of the year), Priyanka Rajagopal (student of the month), Tishen Pillay (most outstanding student), Kimisha Reddy (most dedicated student), Niska and Tavish Suran Harripersadh (best attendance) and Esha Sewnarain (Sa Re Ga Ma music idol).
