Nikkay takes top honours at Sheppie Secondary

Academic superheroes were rewarded at the prestigious event.

Port Shepstone Secondary held its annual awards evening last week.

The function held in the school hall honoured gr 12 academic superheroes Nikkay Choonoo, Babalwa Naledi Xoko and Hannah Maikoo.

Port Shepstone Secondary School congratulates gr 12 pupil Nikkay Choonoo for her excellent achievements. Nikkay walked off with numerous awards, including the dux of 2019.

Nikkay was awarded the coveted dux award, Babalwa received the dux approximé and Hannah was placed third in the grade and scooped the Good Fellowship award, while Danelle Naidoo was the recipient of the True Winner award.

Shining academic stars in other grades were Annika Chetty (gr 11), Iman Khan (gr 10), Tekara Ramdhun (gr 9) and Zahra Moosa (gr 8).
