Promising progress from young musicians
The students are wished a prosperous new year.
A NUMBER of young, talented musicians, who are part of the School of Music, had a good year in 2019.
They were rewarded and recognised for their hard work and dedication late last year.
Receiving certificates from Woodcrest Academy were Gordon van Aarde (excellent progress in piano), Liyanda Chegi (excellent progress in guitar), Kei Rochester (excellent progress in guitar), Kyra Theunissen (excellent progress in guitar and steady and consistent progress in piano) and Beki Giraudeau (consistent and steady progress in guitar).
Receiving certificates from Umdoni Christian Academy, for consistent and steady progress in piano, were Brian Longmore, Aaron Olson, Abenathi Ndwalane, Ayandiswa Shabane and Aphiwokuhle Zwane.
Uthando Myeni and Onke Sithole received the same, for guitar.
The students were wished a prosperous new year and much joy and success as they continued to improve their music skills.
