No bail in Gcilima murder case
A woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death.
A Gcilima woman is to remain in custody after she reportedly murdered her boyfriend.
The woman (31) appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court for the second time on Monday this week after her 36-year-old boyfriend was found in a pool of blood at her home.
Bail was denied.
According to police spokesman Sergeant Sibu Ncane, the woman had told police that she did not know who was responsible for the stabbing.
“She claims that they had had an argument, after which he had stepped outside for a few minutes. She said it was only after he had returned and collapsed that she noticed that he had been stabbed in the neck.”
Investigations however led to the woman being arrested.
The case was postponed to January 28.
