SCOTTBURGH Saps will hold its Community Police Forum Annual General Meeting at the Scottburgh Town Hall on February 5 at 5.30pm. Residents of Kwa Cele, Amandawe, Freeland Park, Scottburgh, Park Rynie, Kelso, Pennington and Bazley are urged to attend. Office bearers will be elected. Car boot sale

A CAR boot sale is held at the Scottburgh Country Club grounds on the first Sunday of every month (weather permitting), from 9am to 2pm. Entrance is free and vendors are expected to pay R50 per ‘boot’ which helps raise funds for TC Robertson nature reserve. For more info, call 084-3686905.

Go green

THE Greenfingers Garden Club meets on the third Thursday of every month and visits various areas. Contact Caroline van Hilten at 083-6592677 for more info.

Check sugar level

SCOTTBURGH Lions Club offers free diabetic testing at Scottburgh Mall on the first Tuesday of the month from 9am to 11am.

Enjoy nature

WEDNESDAY is Mongoose Tea Garden Morning at TC Robertson nature reserve on the Mpambanyoni River. Come and enjoy bottomless tea/coffee with homemade eats, in a glorious outdoor setting. This piece of paradise will help you to appreciate the natural beauty of our home town.

Flea market

SCOTTBURGH Flea Market takes place at the bowling greens in Scottburgh every Saturday from 8am to noon.

Get out of a rut
