Sheppie Snippets: Class of ’78 plans reunion
Preparations for the event in June are already underway.
A reunion is being planned for the Class of ’78 of Port Shepstone Indian High School (Port Shepstone Secondary) in Albersville on June 6, 2020. If anyone was part of the class and would like to attend, contact Pricilla Moodley at 084 5866589 or Ashook Bechoo at 083 2332931.
The Temple Society will observe Maha Shivarathri on Friday, February 21 from 6pm to 6am. The officiating priest is Pundit Misra.
Supper and refreshments will be served and devotees will chant ‘Aum Nama Shivaya’ throughout the night. Various bhajan groups will perform. For more information contact Singh Samsunder at 083 3008382.
Maha Shivarathri will be observed by Port Shepstone and District Tamil Association on Friday, February 21 commencing at 6.30pm. All are welcome.
Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir celebrates Maha Shivarathi at its premises in Port Shepstone on Friday, February 21 from 6pm to 6am.
There will be a hawan, discourses, recitals and bhajans by various groups concluding with aarthi at 6am.
