Love is shared with senior citizens

Local eastern band Sheppie Nagara provided musical entertainment.

Seniors who attended M² Community Association’s Valentine’s-themed meeting at Marburg Library activities room recently enjoyed wonderful music provided by local band Sheppie Nagara.

The association’s chairman, Dinesh Pillay said activities they enjoy are good for senior citizens.

“And what better way for them yo celebrate the month of love than with some great eastern music, prizes and a hearty lunch.

“Although the history of Valentine’s Day differs from legend to legend, everyone agrees it is a day to show love and caring, especially to our dear senior citizens.”

Mr Pillay shared a few words on the meaning of love, our duty to share God’s love, and our purpose of walking in God’s path before the seniors took to the dance floor for some fun.
