Dr Khan visits PSSP

They were taught that too many sweets and chocolates are not conducive for building strong, long-lasting teeth.

The month of February marks National Children’s Dental month and Port Shepstone Senior Primary hosted well-known, local dentist Dr Mohammed Khan at junior assembly last Friday.

He addressed pupils on the importance of good oral hygiene practices.

Dr Khan emphasised the time and effort pupils should put into taking care of their teeth and gums.

They were taught the correct method for brushing teeth and that too many sweets and chocolates are not conducive for building strong, long-lasting teeth.

PSSP kindly thanks Dr Khan for sharing his knowledge and expertise.

Junior girl guides were just as excited last Friday as they got an opportunity to wear girl-guide uniforms in commemoration of World Thinking Day.

They proudly walked the school, sharing knowledge about guiding with fellow peers.

U14 boys and girls took part in volleyball knockout tournament at the Marburg Sports Complex last Saturday.

The U13 boys’ cricket team fought a good fight against Izotsha Primary last Thursday.

Athletes Okuhle Mchunu and Unathi Radebe are wished well as prepare to represent Ugu District at the KZN Athletics Trials in Pietermaritzburg this Saturday (29th).
