Take note of events cancelled and postponed
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a knock-on effect on public gatherings of all descriptions.
Many events have been cancelled or postponed since president Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation regarding COVID-19, announcing a national state of disaster.
As a way to minimise the spread of the disease, all gatherings of more than 100 people have been halted, with immediate effect.
Organisers of the South Coast Bike Fest™ have announced that the event, scheduled to take place in Port Edward from Saturday, 25 to Monday, 27 April, has been cancelled.

“It is unfortunate that this highly-anticipated event has to be cancelled, but, in light of the global pandemic, it is undoubtedly the right decision.
“The priority for all our events is the health and safety of the attendees and participants,” said Vicky Wentzel, owner of Wozani Africa Events and co-founder of Africa Bike Week™ and South Coast Bike Fest™.
Full refunds will be made to ticket holders, and refunds will also be made for any accommodation booked through Howler.
