Bottle tops can help change lives

Collect clean plastic bottle caps from items such as cooldrink bottles, milk containers and cleaning products.

The Oribi Voortrekkers have launched their 2026 Bottle Tops Project, encouraging the community to collect plastic bottle caps to help raise funds for wheelchairs for people in need.

The initiative calls on residents to collect clean plastic bottle caps from items such as cooldrink bottles, milk containers and cleaning products. According to the campaign, every cap collected contributes towards making a difference in someone’s life.

Community members can drop off caps with the Voortrekker team or contact the organisers for collection arrangements.
