PSHS enjoys a productive first term

During last week’s school assembly, principal Peter Jenkins issued ‘Captains of Sports’ certificates to worthy recipients.

The first term of 2020 has come to a close after an industrious 10 weeks of a full academic calendar and numerous extra-mural activities and sporting fixtures of Port Shepstone High School.

During last week’s school assembly, principal Peter Jenkins issued ‘Captains of Sports’ certificates to worthy recipients who continually make the school proud with their athletic prowess.

The school took part in a mandatory planned fire drill last Friday which went smoothly and buildings were evacuated in under the targeted four-minute timeline.

Sheppie High is extremely proud of its physical science teachers who were recognised at a function held by Ugu District Municipality.

The school and individual teachers received a certificate for the greatest number of entries for Physical Sciences, as well as for quality passes.

PSHS has also received a lovely trophy from SANBS for being the top blood-donating school in the district with a phenomenal 284 units of blood donated in 2019.
