Pub celebrates in style

Blue Waters Pub and Grill in Hibberdene celebrated its first anniversary with a three-day celebration last week.

“The first year has been good overall, with a few bumps along the way,” said owner, Sandra Schoeman.

“At a time when pubs are closing at an alarming rate, this local pub stands strong and has become a popular venue in the area.”

She added that the vibrant team behind the bar created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

“We’ve worked hard to tailor our offering and events to the local community, and we’re very happy with the response from locals. Business is very strong and we are really keen to engage more with the local community.”
