Saps leads awareness drive

SCOTTBURGH Saps led an awareness drive, together with women from the Methodist Church, in Pennington Drive, Pennington recently.

Captain Adam Francis and Sergeant Topsie Khwela addressed the women on gender-based violence and crime awareness safety.

Ayanda Sibeko, a social worker from Life Line, Durban now based at Scottburgh police station, also addressed the gathering and outlined the role of Life Line in assisting victims of crime.

The women from the church donated comfort packs for the victims of gender-based violence.
