Devotion: God cares about you

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them.

And how much more valuable you are than birds! – Luke 12:24 (NIV).

You are important to God. He cares about you. God wants to provide you with everything you need.

Many times, it’s easy to forget this.

Instead, we focus on all the things we don’t have.

The friends we don’t have or the phone we don’t have.

And we let these things cause us to be unhappy.

Happiness is never found in things or people. It’s only found in Jesus.

When we focus all our attention on things, we forget that it’s all about Jesus.

Jesus wants to provide for you because He loves you.

He cares about every aspect of your life.

He cares about the things that upset and worry you.

So today challenge yourself to let Jesus have a place in your life.
