Second Covid-19 case for South Coast

He was tested last Tuesday and received the result yesterday afternoon.

A second person, a man (42) from Shelly Beach, has confirmed that he has tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19).

He confirmed it was a domestic transmission as he has not traveled internationally this year.

More than a week ago, he had been on a business trip which involved flights to, or from, Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

On his return, he took precautions and has been isolated at home, having not been to any work or large gatherings of any sort, since last week Saturday (14th).

He was tested last Tuesday and received the result yesterday afternoon.

The Department of Health has been in contact and all precautions and protocols are in place until he is cleared.
