This morning (Monday) Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to multi-vehicle crash on the R102 at Pumula. They found that five vehicles had been involved in the collision.
One person was critically injured, and three were seriously injured. The seriously injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital while the critically injured patient was later taken by helicopter to a specialist facility in Durban.
One person died before emergency services arrived.
