Park Rynie NGO requires assistance with winter donations

Several food parcels have already been handed out to families, but the need is growing.

The X Mbutho Foundation, based in Park Rynie, is in need of blankets, clothing, shoes and food to distribute to the poor, disabled and destitute this winter.

“We have already handed out several food parcels to people who desperately needed them, but the demand is still high,” said founder of the non-profit organisation, Xolani Mbutho.

“I am asking the community to help us by donating these items so that we can help more people.”

Collecting and distributing items donated isn’t always  easy either.

The X Mbutho Foundation would like to purchase a bakkie to help them transport goods and asks members of the public to contact them if they know of anyone locally that may have an affordable one for sale.

To donate to this foundation or assist in any way, call Xolani at 072 670 6911.
